“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.”

DEUTERONOMY 28:12 New international version

For the woman who has been trying to live her calling alone …

The Woman

She has a word from God and a deadline from herself.

She's brilliant and faithful. She shows up every day for other people's visions, other people's missions, and other people's work. She does it beautifully, sacrificially, and well.

But late at night, or early in the morning before everything else begins, she returns to the thing that is hers. The manuscript. The business. The healing she keeps promising herself. The dissertation. The ministry. The vision that beckons her. The calling that won't leave her alone no matter how many times life crowds it out.

She knows God is speaking. She senses the assignment. She just hasn't had a room to bring it into. She hasn't found the time to begin. She hasn't found a community that understands that what she's carrying is holy, and that her showing up for it is an act of faith.

That room exists now. And it's for her.

Is this for you?

01

Sensing a call you haven't moved on yet and needing a community to hold you accountable to it.

02

Finishing something you started and set down, and you're ready to pick up where you left off.

03

Writing your dissertation, thesis, or pursuing your doctoral degree. Crafting your book, memoir, or book proposal.

04

Building a business, nonprofit, or creative platform from the ground up. Designing your course, curriculum, or coaching practice.

05

Pursuing ordination or stepping into a new ministry role.

06

Doing your inner healing work as a serious, intentional practice.

07

Ready to do the work, and needing the covering and community to bring your vision into the earth.

08

Your faith is of utmost importance, and you desire to place it at the heart of all you do.

The

Theology

“The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands.”

- Deuteronomy 28:12, New International Version

This promise is wide and expansive. It does not simply cover just the work you do for your employer, or the labor that is visible and easily justified. It also includes the work you've been carrying quietly, and the assignment you haven't moved on yet. It includes the calling that keeps returning to you, no matter how life has transpired. It includes the dream that feels so big, but you still cannot stop dreaming it.

God wants to bless that work, too, sis.

There's something in that work that is meant to bring fulfillment to you, while making profound impact in the lives of others. You are more than capable. You are called.

The Work of Your Hands is a space to begin, and to keep going  together.

F.A.Q.

WHAT IS THE FORMAT OF THE GATHERING?

The virtual ingathering will take place on Zoom. Upon registering, you will receive a series of emails with times, log-in links, pre-work, and any pertinent materials.

I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE LIVE SESSION. SHOULD I STILL REGISTER?

Every session is recorded and the replay will be sent to all registrants within 48 hours. We encourage you to show up live when you can, to feel the the community energy in real time. But, your investment is protected regardless.

IS THIS ONLY FOR WOMEN WHO ARE FURTHER ALONG IN THEIR WORK?

Not at all. Some women will arrive with a half-finished manuscript. Others will arrive with a calling they haven't named out loud yet. Both belong in this room. Session 1 is specifically designed to meet you wherever you are and move you forward from there.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

Your assignment. Your project. The thing God has been speaking to you about. Come with something specific you are working on, such as a document open, a goal in mind, a next step you've been putting off. The co-working time is most powerful when you arrive ready to use it.

HOW MANY WOMEN WILL BE IN THE ROOM?

This is an intentionally small gathering for up to 20-25 women. The intimacy is part of the experience. Once we reach capacity, registration closes.

WHAT IS THE PRIVATE 1:1 ELEVATED EXPERIENCE CALL?

A private 1-hour coaching session with Rev. Dr. Neichelle Guidry. Rather than prescribing a path, Neichelle will guide you into your own wisdom to help you discern and determine you next most faithful step. Together you'll work to silence the inner voices that distract and diminish, reconnect with the Inner Mentor already living inside you, and clarify your next move from a place of confidence and conviction. Elevate spots are extremely limited.

IS THIS A CHRISTIAN GATHERING?

This ingathering will be taught from a Christian perspective, as it incorporates the study of the Bible and a variety of contemplative spiritual disciplines that are rooted in the Christian tradition. However, materials will not be shared from a Christian nationalist perspective, and may be placed in conversation with principles from varying faith traditions. As a formally trained theologian, sound scholarship and informed praxis are invaluable to Dr. Guidry. It is also important to note that this is a Womanist gathering. What does this mean? Simply, the lives and voices of Black women will be unapologetically centered.

what other SISTERS are saying

“Dr. Guidry is an inspirational and anointed coach. She is authentic and really cares about each person and their journey. She is organized and imaginative. My participation in her program helped me to end a cycle of vocational trauma. She helped me to find hope that I could find or create a space that enabled my thriving.”

Rev. LaTHELMA YENN-BATAH

“Dr. Guidry's spiritual space centers the “multi-hyphenate” Black woman. While many religious spaces exist, I don’t know of others curated without limitations or expectations - where one can be fully Black, fully feminine, fully ambitious, fully *fill-in-the-blank*, fully honoring of oneself. Experiencing this sacred space with others with whom I can remain connected was an answer to prayer."

EARIND JACKSON

What a rich and fruitful experience. I have been in a season of knowing I wanted more but was stuck and had no clue that what I needed was to recognize I was expanding. Being able to put a name to what was happening for me was a huge needed push. Dr. Guidry created a space that, while rooted in biblical principles, was safe, refreshing, and accepting. I would encourage anyone to be in the place when she opens the doors. Her relatability is unmatched and I know I am a better woman, mother, wife, etc… after being guided by her.

The Lord will bless the work of your hands.

But you have to show up to the work.
